Jumilla is in the north of the Murcia region, approximately an hour drive from La Manga Club, and is one of the largest wine producers in Spain.
I visited Vinaelena back in November 2018 with my husband and my parents as wine lovers, definitely not wine snobs! Booking was easy and the staff are friendly and speak good English. We paid just 8 euro per person for a guided tour of the estate and bodega with wine and olive oil tasting after. Excellent value for money and a great way to while away a few hours.
All products are great value for money – wine starts at around 5 euro per bottle. They also produce olive oil and almonds which we got to enjoy with the wine tasting and are available to buy.
